Sunday, May 29, 2022 - When it comes to our Sunday offering, what is “normal” giving? Normal giving is what we are able to do just in our normal everyday lives. It doesn’t involve any real sacrifice or reliance on God to make it happen. Biblically, we would say that normal giving begins with tithing. Since tithing is the moral positioning of our material lives in front of God. Tithing is when we allow God to lead us at the most basic material level – how we live. So, because full devotion to Jesus Christ is normal, tithing is actually normal giving. But even in our tithing, as we see, God promises to bless us beyond measure. God is not promising to make anyone rich if they tithe. But He is promising that when we live obediently in our material lives, God will bless us beyond our ability to contain it. And you will be able to tell how He is blessing you.

Sunday, May 15, 2022 - James the half-brother of Jesus asks us to consider what does faith really look like? James presents a compelling argument that faith and action are inexorably linked by asking, what good is faith without action?

Sunday, May 8, 2022 - These days, it's popular to want to homestead and become homebodies. With the way culture is moving, it almost seems like the right choice. But the Bible is clear, this is not our home. So, what does that mean for motherhood and our families? How should we be guiding our children? If we are going to raise homebodies, let's make sure they are homebodies of the right HOME, their eternal home, heaven.

Sunday, May 1, 2022 - They say actions speak louder than words, but what is our motivation behind our actions? It is important to know what motivates us to serve others and to continually examine our heart before the Father so that our heart, attitude, and motives align with the heart of God’s. Together, we will examine the heart of the matter.
